SUBJECT: Module to Direct Dock Connection

The first production run of direct docks had an assembly stack up which may cause the connectors not to mate properly in rare cases.

SOLUTION:

Remove the wireless module from its dock by unscrewing two #10 screws.

Identify the dock version.

 

Version A: Continue to the next step of this procedure

 

Version B: STOP. This procedure does not apply.

Using a small screwdriver, peel off the gasket from the dock and discard.

 

 

Replace the wireless module.  Secure with two #10 screws.

 

 

Inspect the PCB on the back of the dock. If a jumper is installed, remove and discard it.
