The ConnectWare Cable Adapter is a receptacle for Integrating ConnectWare Modules as a field retrofit.

The ConnectWare Cable Adapter can be mounted anywhere on or near the equipment. Connection to the equipment is provided by a 9-position D-Type (DB9) female connector. Cabling to the connector is supplied by the installer.

Adapter Mounting

The ConnectWare Cable Adapter is mounted to an exterior surface of the equipment. If a location for the Cable Adapter has not been selected see the guideline for placing ConnectWare for optimal Wi-Fi signal.

For convenience a drill template is provided.

Cable Adapter Assembly

Mount the cable adapter using four M4 or #8 screws, minimum of 16mm [.625] long

Environmental

The ConnectWare Cable Adapter has no active components and the PCB is not conformally coated. Refer to the ConnectWare module environmental specifications.
