ConnectWare Module Version 2
Installation Steps:
Remove and discard the cover on the ConnectWare® Dock.
Align the connector between the module and the dock or ConnectWare® Cable Adapter.
Secure with two screws. Tighten screws until they bottom out. Do not over-torque.
Internet Connection Requirements
The following URLs need to be whitelisted for the ConnectWare Module to connect to the internet.
provision.sitesage.net
push.sitesage.net
pull.sitesage.net
or if preferred, *.sitesage.net
If the module will be connecting through Wi-Fi (CWM version 1 or 2):
Enter the network credentials into the touchscreen of the connected device. Instructions for navigating through the equipment’s user interface should be provided by the original equipment manufacturer. At present, this functionality is only available to some models of equipment that have an HLUI.
If the module will be connecting using Ethernet (CWM version 2 Only):
Remove the cap to open up the Ethernet port.
Attach the rubber O-ring over the threads at the base of the module. (first image below)
Assemble the cable clamps onto the Ethernet cable. (second image below)
Plug in the Ethernet cord.
Thread the clamp body, gasket, and nut over the connector. (third image below)
Connect the other end of the Ethernet cord to a port designated by the customer on their internet equipment (example: “Port 16 - Cisco switch”).
You should see solid or flashing green lights on the following icons on the ConnectWare Module. If you do not, please review CWM Troubleshooting.
