  1. Take photos of each thermostat with current set-points, mechanical settings, wiring at backplate 

  2. Verify pre-requisites including common wire, compatibility, etc.

  3. Verify if remote sensors are in use

  4. If so, validate that they are wired, and wiring is compatible (see remote sensor compatibility doc).

  5. Validate remote sensor location and ensure no interference / blowers / exterior non-insulated walls, direct sunlight, etc. 

🚨 If remote sensors are incompatible or must be relocated:

  1. Verify permission for additional scope

  2. Verify is if running new remote sensor wire is possible
